Burn
Permits are
Required in the Town and Village of Somerset
Burn permits are available for no fee at the fire station Saturdays
from 9am to 1pm and Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 9pm. A Perpetual Burn Permit
is available as of Jan 2007. The Burn Permit is
required
for outdoor burning of any type.
On the day you wish to burn, you must call St. Croix County Dispatch at (715)246-6131 or (715)386-4701.

Members of the Somerset Fire and Rescue Department are volunteers that are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. A Chief, Deputy Chief, 2 Captains, 19 Firefighters/Medical personnel, and a high school Cadet make up this skilled team.
